- Vintage Magnet's Fall Festival: Costume Parade & Pumpkin Patch
- When
- 10/31/2025, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
On October 31st, students may come to school dressed in their Halloween costume. The costume parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. For parents who would like to attend, the gate by the office will open once students are seated.
Costume Guidelines
To ensure a safe and enjoyable event, students and families must follow these guidelines:
• Costume should not interfere with Vision or mobility and must not include any hazardous items (e.g., no makeup).
• NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED ON CAMPUS — this includes toy guns, knives, or swords.
• Costumes and masks that hide a student's identity (e.g., gorilla suits, "Scream" characters, etc.) are not allowed.
• All costumes must be age appropriate. Graphically scary costumes will not be permitted.
Pumpkin Patch Contest
Students are invited to bring decorated pumpkins and participate in the Pumpkin Patch Contest.
Winners will receive a prize. Here are a few guidelines:
• Decorate your pumpkin
• Be creative!
• Use a variety of materials
• Make it funny or interesting!
Pumpkins should be placed on the grass (in front of the library) by 8:10 a.m. on Friday, October 31st. Please ensure the tear-off form below is securely attached to your pumpkin. Pumpkins must be picked up by 3:00 p.m. Any pumpkins left after that time will be discarded. Classes will visit and view the decorated pumpkins throughout the day.
We believe it is important to provide a safe and inclusive environment for children who wish to wear costumes, especially for those who might not otherwise have the opportunity. While participation is optional, all students are welcome to take part in the day's activities. If you would prefer that your child not participate in the costume parade, please inform your child's teacher.
During the parade, those students will be in the library.
Thank you for your support and cooperation in making this a fun and safe event for all.
Sincerely,
Principal Dixon
