Enrollment
Vintage is a full school Magnet Program for grades K-5. To be eligible for Kindergarten, the student must be age 5 on or before September 1st of the Kindergarten year. We do not have a Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK) program at Vintage.
If you would like to apply for our school, you must complete a Choices application online at echoices.lausd.net to have a chance for any of our openings. A few paper applications are made available at school sites if needed. The “On-Time” application window is usually from the beginning of October through mid November every year. This means that parents need to apply the year before they hope to enroll their child. Late applications usually become available in February.
After receiving an acceptance letter from the LAUSD Magnet Office, parents should follow the instructions and accept or decline the position online. Once parents accept the Magnet position, they will also receive a letter from the school telling them when to come in to pick up an enrollment packet and register. We need your cooperation in getting enrollment packets back in a timely manner. This is important to make sure everything runs smoothly and you are completely enrolled by the time we leave in June.
